The 3rd Plenary Meeting of the 5th Session of the Council of the Internet Society of China (ISC) was held in Beijing on Dec 17, 2021. 

Mr. YU Xiaohui, the President of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), and also the Vice President of ISC, was elected by the Council to serve as the new Secretary General of ISC. Entrusted by Mr. SHANG Bing, President of ISC, Mr. YU also took on the role of legal person of ISC.

Mr. YU expressed that he will fully perform his duties conscientiously under the leadership of the 5th Council and join hand with the Secretariat to innovate working models, improve work-team capabilities, better adapt to the new situation and new requirements so that to better adapt to industrial development, serve all members, build-up a communication platform for the industry, promote the innovative development of China’s Internet, and continuously raise its global influence.
