The 2009 ISC Working Conference was held in Sichuan Province from Apr 17^th to 18^th， which gathering representatives of branch Internet Societies from 31 provinces/autonomous region/municipal cities respectively and 11 Working Committees.

The Vice President of ISC， Mr. GAO Xinmin presides over the Conference and the Vice Secretary General Mr. MA Ning released a working report， which offered a review to ISC’s work in year 2008 and raised the guideline and requirement for this year’s working mission.

The representatives of each branch gave a brief introduction to what they had done or achieved last year and provided related suggestions or proposals on how to push forward the mission.

Madam HU Qiheng， the President of ISC， approved ISC’s efforts as the role of linkage between the government and the industry， calling for further self-discipline efforts responding to the nationwide program on online porn crackdown initiated by the governments， and the efforts would be brought into the evaluation mechanism of Internet Enterprises Credit Rating System. She also required a much smoother reporting working mechanism on handling illegal and unsolicited message complaint or reporting. And she encouraged ISC to contribute continuously on promoting the Internet development， Internet governance process and shrinking the digital divide in China.
