The First Youth Internet Conference with the theme of “Towards a New Era of Digital Civilization” was held at Beijing Normal University on July 9, 2022.

He Guili, Vice President and Deputy Secretary-General of the Internet Society of China (ISC), pointed out that the wise young will make the country wise, the rich young will make the country rich, the strong young will make the country strong, and the progress of the young will make the country progress. To promote the healthy growth of teenagers is not only an important responsibility of the government, but also a common mission of all sectors of society. Since its establishment, ISC has actively responded to relevant national policies and requirements, made full use of the advantages of online resource platforms, mobilized all forces, and promoted the continuous development of youth online protection through conducting research, developing standards, holding seminars and other activities. ISC will play positive role in protection of the rights and interests of teenagers with all walks of life together, leading teenagers online protection standardized and normalized, to create a sound and clear online space.

The conference draws widely attention from domestic and overseas. The conference focuses on young people in the digital era, and invites well-known scholars and industry representatives from scientific research institutions, academic institutions and Internet platforms.
