The 3rd China Internet Governance Forum Was Successfully Held

The 3rd China Internet Governance Forum was organized in a hybrid format on Dec 29, both in-person and virtual, with the theme set as "Enhancing digital cooperation and co-building digital civilization towards a shared digital future".
The event was hosted by the China IGF, co-hosted by ICANN, CNNIC, Fuxi Institution, and co-organized by the Internet Governance Working Committee of the Internet Society of China, and the Internet Governance Research Center of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.
“The world is joining hand to working on how to cope with the new changes brought about by the digital age, as well as how to improve the governance mechanism, how to promote the sustainable development of the digital economy. China IGF will work with all parties to actively participate in the global Internet and digital governance process to accelerate building a community with a shared future in cyberspace, and contribute wisdom and efforts to the world peaceful development and the progress of human civilization”, addressed in his opening remark by Mr. HUANG Chengqing, Director General of China IGF.
Delegates from multi-staked holders were invited to discuss how to deepening and innovation of cooperation in the digital field, and strengthening the digital governance, as well as promoting the construction of a safe, inclusive and open digital civilization, to build a co-shared and sustainable development digital futures that benefits all. The topics covered from AI and data governance, international cooperation of digital economy, new order of cyberspace, Global Digital Compact, to China Internet community’s engagement into the global community, young generation’s joining Internet governance process etc.
