The 2024 China-South Korea Internet Development Round -table held in Beijing

On April 18, the Internet Society of China (ISC) and Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) jointly organized the 2024 China-Korea Internet Development Round-table in Beijing.
Mr. Dai Wei, Deputy Secretary General of ISC, and Mr. Choi, Jang Hyuk, Vice Chairperson of Personal Information Protection Commission attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The meeting aims to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between China and the South Korea in the Internet industry and provide compliance guidelines for Chinese Internet companies operating in or planning to operate in the South Korea.
Representatives held in-depth discussions on personal information protection, cross-border data flow and relevant topics. The meeting was part of the Internet Society of China's "Digital Sailing" series of activities, which attracted the participation of representatives of many well-known enterprises who operated oversea business such as Alibaba, Ctrip.
“Digital Sailing" is a brand activity of international cooperation sponsored by ISC, aiming at building a platform for exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign Internet industries. By organizing international exchange conferences, participating in international exhibitions, conducting foreign-related training, and organizing overseas exchanges for enterprises, it helps Internet enterprises to explore overseas markets and promotes international exchanges and cooperation in the digital field.
