On June 5, The Internet Society of China (ISC) branch work symposium was held in Beijing. Ms. Chen Jiachun, Vice President and Executive Deputy Secretary-general of ISC, attended and delivered a speech, and Mr. Dai Wei, Deputy Secretary-general, briefed on the work situation in the first quarter and the next step plan.

 At the meeting, Mr. Chen Jiachun affirmed the effectiveness of the recent work of the branches of ISC, and emphasized that the ISC and the branch as an organic whole, need to improve the mechanism, optimize the process to promote the work, and at the same time to form a consensus and cohesion. She pointed out that the two sides should give full play to their respective advantages and work closely together to realize the synergistic effect of “1+1>2”.

 Mr. Dai Wei said that the branches have been working in many aspects and will continue to innovate and promote development. The ISC will optimize the process, improve efficiency, support the business development of branches and improve the management chain.

 The meeting also explained the plan to optimize the workflow and improve the mechanism, and introduced the process of formulating the industry self-regulatory convention. During the interactive session, representatives of several branches exchanged information on their business development.

 More than 50 people from 41 branches of ISC attended the symposium.
