On July 9, the award ceremony of the first "Golden Flash" China Internet Innovation Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition") was held at the opening ceremony of the 2024 (23 rd) China Internet Conference. Mr. Wu Hequan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director of the Expert Advisory Committee of the Internet Society of China, presented the "Golden Flash" trophy and certificate to the winners. Leaderships of relevant government agencies, industry executives, scholars and experts, media and industry more than a thousand people witnessed the award ceremony.

Since the opening of the project application in February this year, the Competition has attracted much attention from all walks of life. A total of 506 teams have registered for the Competition, and the number of participating projects has reached 825. The Competition is divided into two phases: the thematic includes nine tracks, such as "Artificial Intelligence", "Data Elements" and "Information Technology Application Innovation". After the preliminary and final judging of each track, 28 projects are recommended for the final of the competition, 12 "Golden Flash Grand Prizes" were finally decided after consideration by the expert judging group composed of a number of academicians.

The Internet Society of China launched the "Golden Flash" China Internet Innovation Competition, aiming to promote exchanges and cooperation, stimulate innovation vitality, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the digital economy.
