The 15th China Internet Conference (CIC) held in Beijing

Hosted by the Internet Society of China (ISC) the 15th China Internet Conference (CIC) was held in Beijing from June 21-23. The theme is Fostering the Prosperity of Internet Economy, Promoting the Construction of a Cyberpower.
Mr. WU Hequan, the president of ISC delivered a welcome speech, showing his warming welcome to all the participants.
High-level government officials attended the opening ceremony and delivered keynote speechs, including Mr. CHEN Zhaoxiong, Vice-minister of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Mr. LIN Nianxiu, Vice-minister of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), and Mr. ZHUANG Rongwen, Vice-minister of Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC).
Inductees of the Internet Hall of Fame, Madam HU Qiheng (founding President of ISC), Professor Kilnam Chon (Father of South Korea Internet), Professor. Werner Zorn (Father of Germany Internet) were invited to have a dialogue, sharing their insights on difference among the three countries' Internet development, future Internet development, and international cooperation. In addition, representatives from China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom also contributed a discussion on "Internet+"——a new opportunity in ICT industry at another dialogue session, High-level leadership from Yonyou, SAP, Google, DiDi Taxi, Qihoo 360, BitAuto.com.
The CIC will hold for three days with exhibition and 25 forums, focusing on sharing economy, cyber security, mobile Internet, Internet user rights protection, technical and business innovation, online marketing, copyright protection etc.
